RS1 - Rail Skate

The RS1 lightweight rail skate from Donfabs & Consillia has been designed specifically to meet the demanding needs of railway crews, whilst maintaining the smallest possible useable footprint and minimum weight. The unit’s creation has been derived from many areas of customer feedback and Donfabs & Consillia have also designed this unit with ease of maintenance for through life support.

The RS1 is supplied fully assembled and ready to use on track.

The basic unit consists of an aluminium fabricated platform with a fold out arm within which is contained the push handles, and the support legs for when the unit needs to be supported on track. The wheel pod is attached to the underside of the platform.

The normal direction of travel is to push the RS1 trolley with the load away from the operator.
